The project titled “Improving the Product Added Value / Food Safety R & D Studies of Food Enterprises in and Around Alanya" with the referance number TR61 / 15 / ARGEK / 0005 in the category of “Non-Profit Organizations of 2015 Innovative Technologies Financial Support Program”submitted to the Western Mediterranean Development Agency, was entitled to be supported with a grant rate of 80%. With this project, a food research laboratory is established within Alanya University in order to support R&D activities of food companies in Alanya district, to develop products with high added value and to encourage the development of the economy of the region and the country by increasing their competitiveness.
Our food research laboratory has many analytical devices including 1 GC-MS, 1 HPLC, 1 UV spectrophotometer, 1 cultivation unit.
